Intuit has been known for its useful updates and innovative approaches since when it is being started. Recently, Intuit has released its first maintenance update in the 3rd week of September for 2018 QuickBooks products. As for now, the update is offered to U.S. versions of QuickBooks software and soon will be going to release for other versions as well. Early in 2018, users can get the update manually via visiting Intuit’s official site as, the automatic update will be there in the coming months, stated by Intuit’s authority.

However, for users who are not so interested in this 2018’s update of Intuit’s can simply turn off the “Auto Updates” bar. With the allowance of Intuit’s latest release, users are able to track the Employee Pay Adjustments History report which easily conveys the changes in employee pay rates over a period of time. Users can get the report in the Reports/Employee & Payroll menu.
However, this newly Payroll report feature doesn’t calculate the overall amount needed to pay to the employee and just tells the rate of earnings on payroll items that will be paid to that employee.

The feature is previously available in the QuickBooks Accountant editions and had been disabled at the time of R1 release. Intuit has now, successfully, came back with the R3 release which is carrying “File Manager” feature. However, what actually upgraded in the R3 release is still a mystery and we hope Intuit will soon solve it!
As per experts, the returning back of the feature only meant to increase the security of QuickBooks and to make the software more precise and accurate to use.
Many issues were reported and confirmed by Intuit’s authority after the release of QuickBooks 2018 products and from all the issues, display related problems confronted to a big extent.
With the multi-monitor feature of QuickBooks R3 release, Intuit is simply trying to solve all the previous display related issues.
As the update is for maintenance purpose of QuickBooks 2018 released products, the latest update efficiently solves Inventory reporting & tracking related issues fetched into the products. The unrecognized issue of disappearing Title bar window of New/Edit item right after a click has been significantly solved with this release.
The update is also proved fruitful for QuickBooks Enterprise users who were previously asked to sort the class column in the Auto Create PO window multiple times. And as of now, users got rid of doing same tasks multiple times.
Intuit has cleared to its users, after the release of QuickBooks 2018 R3 update, that the latest release will fix various other issues as well. The release is successfully solved issues related to areas including, checks, Invoice, Item & Customer Center. The update is thus known for hassle-free QuickBooks experience that allows users to work in an error-prone environment.
