1. First, close your application and reopen QuickBooks.
2. If you get any QuickBooks Update Service message window, click on Install Later.
3. Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
4. Now, reopen QuickBooks.
5. If you get a prompt to install any update, click on Install Now. 
6. Once installation is done, QuickBooks Desktop will open.
7. If you get a prompt to restart the PC, hit the Yes.
